Formulate oil ratios based on availability and desired soap properties.
Calculate oil masses, lye mass, water mass.
Carefully dissolve lye in water.
Combine and melt oil.
Bring both below approximately 54°C.
If mixed too Hot: Volcano
If mixed too Cold: False Trace
Mix until trace.
Add color, fragrance, foofy stuff.
Mold.
Wait 24 hours.
Cut into bars.
Cure for about eight weeks; longer cure makes better bars; everyone says so.
Wrap, Label, and Use soap.
